From Farms to Incubators-Amy Wu event
Amy Wu is an award-winning journalist, covering the women’s agriculture and agtech movement. She is the creator and chief content director of From Farms to Incubators, a multimedia platform that uses documentary, video, photography, and the written word to tell the stories of remarkable female leaders and innovators creating breakthrough solutions in the field of agtech. The book and accompanying multi-media content has a mission of highlighting women in food, farming, and farm-tech, especially celebrating women of color.
The event held at Stanislaus State was an amazing success and it was great to see Amy be able to influence the future of agriculture. Questions where asked and everyone left with a smile on their face and ignited ambition in their soul

This virtual speaker series will feature current USDA researchers, scientists, technicians, engineers, foresters, other STEM related program managers. These sessions will allow students from high school through college to engage with current USDA professionals and learn about their story, career path, and exciting projects and initiatives they may be working on at USDA that serve the public interest, all while helping to inspire the next generation of the agricultural workforce!
